I received notice from several people that on windowsXP the software did not worked.
Messages like 'Unable to initialize the Borland Database Engine' appeared.
It took me a while to find out what went wrong on XP, but it is solved now.
The files you download now are tested on windowsXP with Service Pack 2.

The software is delivered in two parts:
 

The Borland Database Engine

This software has to be downloaded and installed only once and before you try to run the F3Jscore software. The current software and future updates will be based on these files. The files will be installed using a windows setup procedure.

·        Download the bde_inst.zip,

·        unpack it in a temporarily folder

·        run the setup.exe

The F3Jscore software
Current version is

2.0 beta 12

This is a simple zip file. Unpack the file in the c:\program files\F3Jscore folder.
You will then have:

f3jsetup.exe
f3jscore.exe
f3jscore.ini
db\    folder containing database files
doc\  folder containing documentation
sql\   folder containing SQL queries that can be used          

Soon available:

f3jscore v2.15

 With this version it is possible to run the software in different languages. The software is now being translated to:

- dutch      by myself
- russian   by Tony Pavlov
- german   I still need someone for this.
